Alera is a very dairy doe.  She has a lot of style and general appearance.  Her body is long and level with a smooth front end and excellent feet and legs.  She has an awesome side profile and is quite correct throughout.  Her mammary system is beautiful, being high and wide in the rear and smoothly blended in the fore.  Alera's teat placement sits toward the outside of the udder, but is not too far off.  She is one of the animals closest to the total package in our herd and we are extremely proud of her.  Alera has had a problem carrying her kids to term for the past couple years.  We feel we have figured out her hormonal problem and look forward to kidding her this spring.  Her cross with Apache should be a nice one.

Vienna was added to the herd this spring when Chad and Carrie Ringkvist decided to down size their herd.  They knew we've always loved Vienna and offered her to us before putting the word out that she would be for sale.

Vienna is extremely tall and long.  She has a well attached udder with excellent teat placement and stands on a good set of feet and legs.  Thank you Chad and Carrie for sharing this beautiful doe with us.

Lydia is a powerful doe with lots of width from her chest to her hocks.  She is level over the topline and has a wide, flat rump.  Her mammary system is high and wide in the rear with an outstanding foreudder.  Lydia could use some smoothing out in the shoulder area, but is very strong in the other aspects of the score card.  All this and she milks well too!

Tantalum and Calamine (below) were purchased from Mark Baden late last fall.  After five weeks on the road, the does finally arrived in January.  Both carried a set of triplets and had drained themselves after a long, hard trip.  Tantalum was quite stressed after her trip and took longer to adjust.  She is quite a heavy milker and it took several months to get her back into shape.  We felt it was best to place her with a friend in a small herd where she could get some extra attention and stay off the show string for the next year.

We love Tantalum's granddam, Trona, and all the grand animals she brings forth in her pedigree.  We look forward to seeing her kids from Apache and feel that this linebreeding will be exceptional.

Calamine and Tantalum (above) were purchased from Mark Baden late last fall.  After five weeks on the road, the does finally arrived in January.  Both carried a set of triplets and had drained themselves after a long, hard trip.

Calamine was quicker to bounce back after her long trip on the road.  She has a charming personality and has worked her way into the herd extremely well.  We feel she resembles her dam closely.  Her color, body and udder really remind us of her dam, Chrystin, who placed 1st in her class at the National Show.  She has a slightly larger teat size, but otherwise she follows in her dam's footsteps.  Cal had an impressive show record and we look forward to getting her out in 2010 as a 2nd freshener.  We crossed her with the Munchin Hill lines for added height (Sheradee Peyton's buck).

Camary is a lovely, feminine doe kid that is very correct with an excellent set of feet and legs.  She will be kept dry in 2010 to give her more time to grow.

Trinity is extremely tall and long.  She is a very dairy type doe that excels in length of neck and sharpness of withers.  She took most of the summer to fill out, but is looking quite nice as we go into fall.  Her teat placement looks impressive and we feel she should have a nice mammary system.
