Jamica is a special
doe to us. She is my son Tyler's showmanship doe, and is
just an easy type doe to have around. Jamica is a
smoothly blended doe, with tremendous width from her chest to
her hocks and has an incredible wide, flat rump. She has
strong feet and legs with correct overall body conformation.
Her mammary system is nicely attached both fore and rear with
excellent size and placement of teats. Jamica finished
her championship in 2003 and was part of our Milking Get at
the Nationals. She came out even stronger in 2004
placing 9th at the Nationals and going 3x Best Doe in Show. Jamica was only shown a limited amount
in 2005 and 2006 due to focusing on some of our other does,
but was Grand Champion, Best of Breed and Best in Show several
times. We are very excited about last year's doe and her
offspring. Jamica's son, Sorcerer, has already made his
mark and another son, Zephyr,
had his first freshening daughters last spring that were
beautiful. Along with nice bucks, Jamica has also
produced several beautiful daughters in other herds as well as
my own herd.

Venus was added to
our herd from Willow Run. We admired her at the Nationals in
Harrisburg and were lucky enough to get the opportunity to
purchase her when the Dean's sold out.
Venus is the type of doe that stands out in the herd.
She has a wild color pattern and a great personality.
Her body style is very dairy; she is sharp in the withers, has
a long, level topline, strong pasterns, and a capacious, well
attached mammary system. Venus has an exceptional rear
udder and teat placement, but could use a little more
foreudder extension. When we purchased Venus, she was
already a finished champion and had placed 3rd at the
Nationals in Harrisburg. Venus has continued to show well,
going several times Best of Breed and Best Doe in Show.
She appraised EEEE 92 in 2007, and we feel this doe is an
incredibly strong producer.

Marmalade has been
one of my favorites since she was a kid. She is a good
sized doe that is very balanced and stands on excellent feet
and legs. Her body is very smoothly blended and is
overall very correct. Marmalade's mammary system is
snugly attached both fore and rear. She was very showy
as a kid, always standing at the top of her class and has
continued on as a milker. As a yearling, she had only
ever taken second to herd mate, Tempra. Marmalade was
also Reserve Champion to our older girls in the 2004 season, and we felt
that was quite an accomplishment for such a young doe.
In 2005 she finished her championship after her first three
shows, ending the season with 12x 1st, 4x 2nd, 1x 3rd, 3x GCH
and numerous RGCH. Marmalade came out for the past few
years winning numerous Best Doe In Show Awards.
We were glad to see
Marmalade back on the show string his season and proud of her
1st place Aged Doe win at this year's National Show. She
was also part of the Best Dairy Herd, Produce of Dam and Best
3 Females - no small feat! Her son, Maddock, has
produced some beautiful daughters so far, and we'll be using
him quite a bit this fall.
Marmalade is a
very, very special doe, and personally, I would take a whole
herd just like her!

Strait reminds us
so much of her dam, Tory. She has the same capacious,
beautifully attached udder, and is tall in stature with a
long, dairy frame. Her feet and legs are strong and she
has more rear leg angulation than her dam. Strait is
also very correct in her shoulder assembly, scoring excellent
on linear appraisal. We love this doe! She was
the star of our yearling show string and came out in 2007 just
as strong. Along with showing well, she is an excellent
milker and has produced some beautiful daughters.
We continue to be
impressed with Strait's daughters and her ability to reproduce
so well. Strait, herself, truly is getting better with
age!
Strait has not been
shown in the last few years because of a mastitis problem;
unfortunately, it has resulted in some permanent damage to her
mammary system. Her show career has ended, but will live
on through her beautiful daughters.

her dam,
Tressa. Tawny is level over
the back to the rump, and stands on strong feet and legs.
She has also matched her dam in mammary system with a
plastered on udder and perfect teat placement. Tawny
bloomed after her 2nd freshening and had an outstanding show
season. She was teh front runner of our show string and
was the first doe to finish her championship. You can't
help but notice her; she is so upstanding and has such a
pretty udder.
Tawny is, and

pretty rear leg angulation. Sett has a well attached
udder that has just bloomed with each lactation. Her
teat placement has improved and her foreudder is long and
smooth. We love this doe and feel she just gets better
with age. Some judges find her to be extreme and don't
know what to do with her. However, she had a good show
season, finishing her championship and placing 5th at the

exactly the type of doe that we

This past spring she freshened with a single buck kid, and

Tanzey is a large,
long-bodied doe. She has excellent feet and legs,
and good rear leg angulation. We feel she has beautiful
general appearance and a pretty, well attached mammary system.
Tanzey bloomed as a 2nd freshener, winning the 2010 All Breed
Futurity. She was not feel well at the Nationals, so
wasn't full for her class. She made the cut but didn't
place as high as we feel she could have.
Tanzey is really
blooming with age. This year she appraised EEEE-92, and
we feel it really reflects the awesome doe that she is.
It appears that she will be one of those does that gets better
with age, so keep an eye out for this girl!

Vexie is an
extremely correct individual.. She is extremely balanced
and well blended throughout. She has a long, level
topline and she has excellent feet and legs. She
freshened with a well attached udder, both fore and rear.
Her teats are well placed but a tad larger in size. She
has shown well, placing 1st or 2nd throughout the season, and
was GCH at the L.E.G.S. Show.
Unfortunately, our
2 yr. olds were not showing themselves to their best at last
year's
National Show. Vexie reabsorbed her milk and made the
cut but could have moved up the line with no problem if she
would have bagged correctly.
This year Vexie has
really matured into a beautiful doe. She has finished
her championship and even placed over some of our top does.
We definitely appreciate those does that take a bit longer to
mature - their longevity means a lot to us.

Nexus is now the
largest doe in our herd. Her length of body is also
extreme and surpassed by no one. She
continues to be extremely tall and long, taking after her
maternal line.
She has smooth shoulders and excellent feet and legs.
Her mammary system is well attached both fore and rear.
She reminds us of her sister, Sett, in style and type.
Nexus' mammary system has finally caught up with her huge
frame, and was simply gorgeous this year. She did us
proud standing 4th in the 2 yr. old class at the Nationals and
scoring an impressive EEEE-91. We feel this doe gets
better with each freshening - we expect her to be unstoppable
in 2012.

Sunny Day is
exceptionally large; she is a carbon copy of her dam in
height, color and body style. Sunny Day has taken Sett's
best features and improved upon them with even better teat
placement. Her udder is similar but has a little more
rear udder arch. Sunny is the star of this year's milkers and a family favorite with her calm,
loving, 'sunny' personality. We were sad that she
couldn't go with us to the Nationals.

Solice is a
smoothly blended doe with a level topline and rump. She
has strong feet and legs with a highly arched escutcheon and
good teat placement. Solice had a bang to start her 2010
show season winning the Dry Yearling class at the Nationals,
and then going National Champion! Solice freshened with
a pretty udder; it's well attached in the rear and an
exceptional fore. We feel with another freshening she
will really come into her full potential and continue with her
show career.
